Privacy Policy — Stocks and Options Alerts

Last updated: October 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Stocks and Options Alerts mobile and desktop apps, the website stocksandoptionsalerts.com, and related services (the "Service") collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. The Service is operated by Mohammed N. Noor, doing business as Stocks and Options Alerts ("Stocks and Options Alerts," "we," "us," or "our").

We designed the app to work without an account: we do not ask for your name, phone number, brokerage login, or financial account information.

1. Information we collect

Device identifiers. A device-level ID (the Android ID on Android, or Apple's "identifier for vendor" on iPhone, iPad and Mac). We use it as your anonymous app user ID for subscriptions, free-trial eligibility, the referral program, and to link your push registration to your device.

Push notification data. Your device's push token, the platform (iOS, Android or macOS), and the alert types you choose to receive.

Subscription and purchase data. Your plan, trial and subscription status, and purchase/transaction records. Payments are processed by Apple or Google; we never receive your card or bank details.

Free-trial and referral records. The device ID(s) that started a free trial and the trial start date; referral codes, which device created or redeemed a code, and any reward granted.

App event data (Android only). On Android, the Meta (Facebook) SDK automatically records app installs and app opens, and we record free-trial starts and purchases (plan, price, and currency). Meta's SDK may also collect your Android advertising ID and basic device information (such as model, operating system, and app version) and the IP address of the request. We use this only to measure whether our ads lead to installs and subscriptions. The iPhone, iPad and Mac apps do not include the Meta SDK.

Network information. When the app or website connects to our servers, your IP address and basic request details (such as time, requested page, and app or browser type) pass through our hosting and network provider, Cloudflare, and our server. We use them temporarily for security, abuse prevention, and rate limiting; we do not add them to your subscription, trial, or push records.

Information you send us. If you email us (for example, using Send Feedback), we receive your email address, your message, and anything you include. The feedback email is pre-filled only with the app version and your device platform.

Email newsletter (website). If you sign up on our website for the weekly market recap and app updates, we collect your email address, the page you signed up from, the date and time you signed up and confirmed, and the version of the consent wording you agreed to. We first email you a confirmation link, and you are only added to the list after you confirm (double opt-in). Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Spam protection. Our sign-up form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not an automated program, is submitting it. To make that check, Turnstile processes technical signals from your browser, such as your IP address and browser characteristics, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not store your IP address with your sign-up.

Website analytics and store-button clicks. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across other websites, to count page views and measure site performance. When you tap an App Store or Google Play button on our website, we record an anonymous count of that click: the date, the page, the store and where the button sits on the page. These counts do not include your IP address, device identifiers or anything else that identifies you. Store links may carry campaign labels (for example, utm_source=website) so that Apple and Google can tell us, in aggregate, how many installs came from our website.

Information stored only on your device. Your settings, alert preferences, free-trial start date, and the date and version of the Terms you accepted are stored on your device and are not sent to us, except as described above.

What we do not collect. We do not collect your name, precise location, contacts, photos, browsing history, brokerage credentials, or account balances, and the app does not include crash-reporting or third-party analytics SDKs other than the Meta SDK on Android.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only for the purposes above:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the Service.

Advertising measurement. Sending Android app events to Meta to measure ads may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising or "targeted advertising" under some U.S. state privacy laws. You can opt out at any time by emailing us (see Section 6), and you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings (Google → Ads).

4. Data retention

5. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

6. Your privacy rights and choices

9. Changes to this Policy

We may modify, update, or replace this Policy, and may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, at any time, with or without notice. Changes take effect when posted, and the "Last updated" date above will change. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept them. For material changes we may, but are not required to, notify you in the app or ask you to accept the updated Policy. Where the law requires your consent before we use personal information we already collected in a materially different way, we will ask for it.
