The free trial, pricing and cancelling, what every alert includes, how fast alerts arrive, and what we don't do.
Getting started
What is Stocks and Options Alerts?
Stocks and Options Alerts is an app for iPhone and Android that sends real-time stock and options alerts as push notifications. Each alert shows the ticker, the contract for options (call or put, strike and expiration), and entry, stop and target reference levels. The app then tracks every alert until it closes and keeps the result, win or loss, in the Closed tab.
Which phones are supported?
Stocks and Options Alerts is available on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android phones. Search for Stocks and Options Alerts in either store, or use the store buttons on this site.
Who is the app for?
The app is for adults 18 and older in the United States who want to follow stock and options alerts and learn how they play out. It is information and education, not a brokerage or an advisory service.
Does the app place trades or connect to my brokerage?
No. The app never places trades and never asks for brokerage logins or account details. Whether to trade, with which broker and in what size is entirely your own decision.
Pricing and your subscription
How does the free trial work?
New subscribers get a 30-day free trial, one per device. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the subscription renews at $14.99 per month through your App Store or Google Play account. You can see the trial end date in your store's subscription settings.
How much does it cost after the trial?
$14.99 per month. The subscription renews monthly until you cancel. Prices are shown in the App Store or Google Play before you confirm, and taxes may apply depending on where you live.
How do I cancel?
Cancel anytime in your store's subscription settings. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. On Android, open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Can I get a refund?
All purchases are made through Apple or Google, and refunds are handled by them under their own refund policies. For Apple, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, request it from your Google Play order history. We are not able to issue refunds for App Store or Google Play purchases ourselves.
Alerts
What does an alert include?
Each alert names the ticker and whether it is a stock or an options alert. Options alerts show call or put, the strike and the expiration. Every alert includes an entry reference price, a stop level and one or more target levels, and it updates as a target or the stop is reached. When an alert ends, it moves to the Closed tab with its exit price, result and the reason it closed.
How quickly do alerts arrive?
Alerts are sent as push notifications as soon as they post, and usually arrive within seconds. Delivery depends on Apple's and Google's push services, your phone's notification settings, Focus or battery-saving modes, and your connection, so notifications can occasionally be delayed or missed. Every alert also appears in the app's feed, so you can always check there.
Why are results on the website shown 3 days after an alert closes?
The public Results page lists the last 200 closed alerts, each shown at least 3 days after it closes, so the full record is public without giving away the current alerts that subscribers receive. Inside the app, subscribers see alerts and closed results as they happen.
Do you show losing alerts?
Yes. Every closed alert stays on the record, wins, losses and break-even results alike. The Closed tab in the app keeps them all, and the Results page lists the last 200 in full.
How are alert results calculated?
An alert's result is the change from its entry reference price to its exit price. These are hypothetical alert outcomes, not actual trades, and they don't include commissions, fees, slippage or bid/ask spreads. Your own results will differ. The Results page explains exactly how wins, losses and break-even results are counted.
I'm not getting notifications. What can I check?
Make sure notifications are allowed for the app in your phone's settings, that a Focus or Do Not Disturb mode isn't silencing them, and on Android that battery optimization isn't restricting the app. Also check that the alert types you want are switched on in the app's settings. If they still don't arrive, email us.

No. Everything in the app and on this website is general information for educational purposes only, the same for every user. It is not investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Trading stocks and options involves substantial risk of loss, including the loss of your entire investment.
